Happy February!

About Loma Organics

Founder, David Hanen, has dedicated his career to the art of hair and beauty. From his beginnings as a salon stylist to a successful salon owner following his passion, David created Loma and today he is recognized as a leader in the formulation of pure, organic and sustainable beauty products. Loma pioneered and set the standard for the use of Certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel, the primary base for all Loma products.

What makes Loma unique is the belief that it’s not just about style; but healthier, stronger, shinier hair. Loma hair care products are high performing with naturally healing, organic ingredients and essential oil based fragrances that embrace this belief. All at a price that rivals retail outlets while delivering performance that far exceeds them!

Loma is made in the USA, we print our own bottles, blend our own products and fill our own bottles! This process makes Loma one of the last independently owned and operated brands in the professional beauty industry actually manufacturing 100% of its own products.

Each product is hand crafted in small batches ensuring purity. Nothing is outsourced to keep prices affordable and reasonable.

From the beginning in 1991, product purity is at the forefront, all Loma products are Paraben and Gluten free, Sulfate free cleansing and Sodium Chloride free, and all products are good for your hair and skin! (I copied this right from there site if you can’t tell)

Why I Love Loma

Because it smells amazing, and the products feel luscious! Seriously you guys know I’m no product junkie, but this is something that if I had to pay regular retail price for I would. I do not and will not carry the entire line. I have chosen  a few products that I feel will best help my curlfriends achieve their hair goals.

Loma also makes candles! So you guys know how I’m always like “make wash day and experience” “this is your you time” well now you can take steps to do that. These candles smell amazing without being overwhelming. I burn them in my studio now and the smell fills the room gradually and the aroma will linger for a day or two without re-lighting and in a salon with all the smells to smell thats good!

It’s a New Month!

I hope everyone had an awesome January. I am really excited to say I certainly did. Just a little PSA Harmony has a field trip on Wednesday February 14th so I will not be working that day. However if you need your hair done for the holiday I will be working extended hours on Tuesday the 13th Click here to visit the online calendar.

I want to invite you all to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I only have a couple videos up at the moment but there are more coming soon. This video is me taking and old wash and go to a twist out using the Azarra Elixer 11 repair spray. It’s a little long and don’t hate me please for the music LMAO just mute the sound.

Now understand I’m telling you the product that I used because I want to make money but remember it’s not the product it’s the process. I use flat twists in the back to get max definition roots to ends loose twists in the top for max volume and flat twists in the front kind of criss crossing so that my faux bangs will lay nice and flat. I also tie a scarf on it at the end so there’s that. Welp have a great month!
